eRecording

The Brown County Recorder accepts certain electronically recorded documents. Many Brown County Recorder office customers such as: mortgage companies, attorneys, banks and title companies can upload and submit documents. 

 

Documents presented for eRecording will be processed that day between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; Monday thru Friday.  Documents received after 3:30 p.m., or after close of business, will be processed the next business day.

All recording fess and transaction fees are to be paid through ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments.

​

Documents must meet our office and state requirements for processing.  If a document cannot be recorded, an immediate rejection notice will be sent, to the originator to be corrected and resubmitted.

Conveyance documents are accepted for eRecording,
